You can catch an outdoor movie at Ontario Place's new Open Air Cinema

Ontario Place has opened a new outdoor cinema where guests can catch a movie while relaxing in a Muskoka chair under the night sky.

The new Open Air Cinema features 100 seats arranged in pairs for pods of two to enjoy a film together.

The movies are on rain or shine, and guests can purchase food and drink at the cinema’s snack shop.

Tickets cost $10 including tax and must be purchased online in advance. Ontario place opens the seating area one hour before the show time, and seating pods are first-come-first-serve.

A Simple Favour and Hocus Pocus are playing for opening weekend, and upcoming titles include Tangled, Coco, Dawn of the Dead, A Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Descent.
