Drive-in movies return at Ontario Place next month

Make sure you stock up on snacks, grab some blankets and prepare to get comfortable as Ontario Place brings back its drive-in experience this spring.

Starting this April, you’ll be able to enjoy the sunset over Toronto’s horizon while catching fan-favourite movies by Lake Ontario.

This is possibly the next best thing after the CNE announced its plans to reopen this summer.

For select days in April, the venue will host a lineup of films from the classics to recent flicks you may not have caught in theatres.

Tickets for the first week of April are now available to purchase and are priced at $10 per person.

From April 1 to 25, here’s what Ontario Place has in store for the month:

• April 10 – Ghost in the Shell (subbed) at the Drive-In
• April 11 – Captain Marvel at the Drive-In
• April 12 – Sing at the Drive-In
• April 13 – Paddington 2 at the Drive-In
• April 14 – Galaxy Quest at the Drive-In
• April 15 – Beetlejuice at the Drive-In
• April 16 – Moana at the Drive-In
• April 17 – Hunt for the Wilderpeople at the Drive-In
• April 18 – Tangled at the Drive-In
• April 23 – Pulp Fiction at the Drive-In
• April 24 – This Is It at the Drive-In
• April 25 – Boyz n the Hood at the Drive-In
