The single day celebration bills the Ontario Oyster Shucking Championships and live music by the Mercenaries among the attractions, but the real draw is the bounty of fresh seafood on offer al fresco.

Oysters, lobster, mussels, popcorn shrimp, and fish tacos are all on the menu and you can knock ’em back along with Caesars, bubbly, and bourbon.

Best of all, the festival supports “charities that work directly with the ocean and shorelines to help maintain and improve the ecosystems oysters need to be delicious,” this year the beneficiary is is Ecology Action Centre.
