Barking news: Toronto's off-leash dog parks officially reopen today

Off-leash dog parks are reopening in Toronto on Tuesday, Mayor John Tory confirmed.
On social media, Tory said City staff are currently in the process of opening off-leash areas that have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also on Tuesday, as per the provincial order, animal services, specifically pet care services, such as grooming and training, and regular veterinary appointments can resume.

Renewed access to the parks is part of Ontario’s Stage 1 reopening of the province.
Retail services not in shopping malls, that have separate street-front entrances can reopen, but there must be measures in place that can enable physical distancing.
And, indoor and outdoor household services that can follow public health guidelines, such as housekeepers, cooks, cleaning, and maintenance are continuing again.
