Ontario's top chefs are about to compete in a winter Chowder Chowdown

Jan 29 2019, 5:12 am

Seafood lovers, get ready for the hottest food event of the season that will melt away those –15°C Toronto blues.

On Wednesday, February 27, 13 of Ontario’s most acclaimed chefs and Ocean Wise Seafood partners will be going ladle-to-ladle in the annual Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown taking place at the Fermenting Cellar, Distillery Lane.

The culinary all-stars will be putting their seafood skills to the test in a bid to be crowned the 2019 Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown Champion (huge deal). They’ll need to impress a media and industry judging panel, and if you’re attending, you can have your say by casting your vote for the People’s Choice Award winner.
