You can go moonlight snow tubing near Toronto this winter

Feb 20 2019, 2:58 pm

We’re pretty spoiled when it comes to all the amazing winter activities we have access to in Toronto.

But if you’re the type of person who spends all their free time outside, you might feel like you’ve already tried every cold-weather activity near Toronto.

Which is why you need to give moonlight snow tubing a try, so you can still enjoy the rush of tubing while enjoying the beauty of the tubing hill as its lit up by moonlight.

And luckily, Chicopee Tube Park in Kitchener is open late for those who want to ride at night.

From Tuesday to Friday, riders can enjoy the hill until 9:30 pm and then on Saturday evenings until midnight.

Located just over an hour west of downtown Toronto, Chicopee Tube Park is home to a massive hill with six chutes so tubers never have to wait long for their turn.

While tubers can walk up the hill, there’s also a carpet conveyor belt that can carry riders back to the top of the hill.

The park is also home to a log chalet, with a raised outdoor viewing deck where you can take photos or videos of your friends as they make their way down the hill.

And new to the park this year is a cozy, outdoor firepit for those who want to warm up in between rides.
