Almost everyone on the continent is supporting the Raptors, and Niagara Falls is no different.
As part of the #WeTheNorth movement that’s spread like wildfire, the City of Niagara Falls is taking part by showing the team’s colours against the falls, and have been doing it for each game during the NBA Finals.
“We are in the throes of excitement with our Toronto Raptors and fans everywhere are cheering from communities everywhere,” said Mayor Jim Diodati. “In Niagara Falls we wanted to make a big statement. We know that lighting the falls ‘Raptor Red’ and flying the Raptor flag high are ways that we can show that we are all in this together.”
