Multiple TTC stations set to close early most of next week
Multiple TTC stations on Line 2 are set to close early for most of next week.
According to the transit commission starting on Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9, subway service on the portion of Line 2 between Jane and Kipling stations will end nightly at 11 pm for track work.
Replacement shuttle buses will run frequently, stopping at each station along the route.
TTC staff will also be on hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading locations, which will vary from station to station.
All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.
But, the Grenview Boulevard automatic entrance and exit at Royal York Station will be closed.
Customers requiring Wheel-Trans should speak to any TTC customer service staff member for assistance.
“While the TTC does most subway maintenance at the conclusion of service each night, it continues to require weekend and early weeknight closures to complete critical infrastructure and ATC upgrades,” the statement said.
Since Thursday, TTC riders must now wear face masks or coverings when taking public transit.
