Jewelry store employees fight off robbers with swords in Mississauga (VIDEO)

A Mississauga jewelry store was robbed on Wednesday, and it was all captured by the store’s security cameras.

The video, shared on Facebook, shows people breaking the front window of the store.

Moments later, three store employees rush to the window and begin fighting the robbers away with what appear to be swords.

Peel Regional Police confirm they responded to the robbery at 12:15 pm on November 21 at a jewellery store located at Airport Road and Beverley Street.

Police say after the employees fended off the suspects, they fled the area northbound on Airport Road in a dark coloured Dodge Durango.

According to police, there are four suspects, described as follows:

1 – Male, 5’8″ – 5’10″, medium build wearing a blue jumpsuit with reflective safety decals, black toque, black shoes, black hoodie and a black backpack.
2 – Male, 5’8″ – 5’10″, medium build wearing a blue jumpsuit with reflective safety decals, black toque, black shoes, black hoodie and black backpack.
3 – Male 5’9″ – 5’11″, black jacket with hood up, blue jeans, black shoes, white gloves, heavy build, armed with a black handgun.
4 – Slim build, black pants, white gloves, black winter jacket with fur lined hood and a black bag.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses, dash-cam or surveillance video, or anyone with information on this incident to contact investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3410.
