Toronto is about to lose one of the most glorious rooftop beer gardens it has ever known. Mascot Brewery announced via social media today that it’s closing at the end of June due to “to redevelopment on the Mercer block.”

The site is slated to become the home to the previously announced Nobu Residences Toronto.

“This is the end for our 31 Mercer location, but not the end for Mascot Brewery… we’ll be relocating and shutting these doors at the end of this month” reads the announcement on Instagram before continuing, “We are stoked to announce our move which will allow us to keep growing and continue to push our limits. More info coming very soon!”

The closure is not only the end of the road for Mascot Brewery but also for night club, Odd Thomas.

The multi-floor venue is hosting one last hurrah this weekend featuring DJs and dancing on Friday and Saturday night.
