The Toronto Maple Leafs opted to practice at Nathan Phillips Square on Thursday, and Toronto really showed up for the team.

Fans warmed up with free hot beverages and enjoyed giveaways, prizes, and activations while they wait for practice to begin.

After the players took a ride on the TTC, the fun started at noon, but crowds were forming even earlier.

And the fun doesn’t stop here. Saturday, December 11, will see a Skills Competition at Nathan Phillips Square featuring players from the PWHPA including US and Canadian Olympians.

And Sunday, January 12, will feature an Alumni Game of past Leafs players starting at noon, a screening of the Leafs vs. Florida Panthers game at 7 pm, and more.
