Channel your inner Hansel (or Gretel) this holiday season and check out this giant gingerbread house in Toronto.
Located in the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton, the massive baking masterpiece is 9 feet tall, almost 11 feet wide and decorated with 250 pounds of royal icing and candy.
Made entirely by the hotel’s in-house pastry team, the life-size confection took almost 500 hours to construct and comprises 200 pounds of flour, 75 pounds of sugar, 5 pounds of spice, 60 pounds of shortening, 35 pounds of corn syrup and 12 pounds of molasses.
It might be bigger than my condo.
