Toronto’s east side is getting together for a massive food and drink festival this May.
The Leslieville Food & Drink Festival (formerly known as Silver Spoons) will take over District 28 on May 6 and will celebrate all the best things happening in Toronto east of the Don Valley River.
Event organizer Christiane Tetreault shared with Daily Hive when reached by phone, that the aim is to be eastside-centric in every way; from participants and partners to sponsors and the charitable beneficiary of the event’s raffle and silent auction.
Over 40 east side restaurants, bars, and breweries are participating and not just from Leslieville. Businesses from Riverdale, Danforth Village, and The Beach(es) will all represent.
In addition to eating and drinking, look forward to dancing, live music, and DJs along with local artists, food and wine pairing seminars, and an artisanal food market taking over the 9,000 square foot venue.
