Scarborough LCBO employee tests positive for coronavirus

An LCBO employee in the Toronto area has tested positive for COVID-19 as cases continue to remain high across the province.

According to a release, on October 26, an employee at the 785 Milner Avenue location in Scarborough tested positive for the virus. They had last worked on October 18.

“Public Health has not provided any directions or recommendations with respect to this location. This general notice is being provided out of transparency.”

Positive cases have also been reported at grocery stores, as well as several Shoppers Drug Mart locations, in and around Toronto.

“The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization, mandatory face coverings, and in-store measures that promote physical distancing,” said the LCBO.
