A Toronto LCBO store has reported an employee testing positive for COVID-19 this week, adding to the growing cases in several of the region’s storefronts.

On December 1, an LCBO located at 85 Hanna Avenue reported an employee testing positive for the virus. They had last worked on November 27.

The employee is currently self-isolating at home.

“This general notice is being provided out of transparency. Should we receive any Public Health direction or guidance, we will act immediately and accordingly,” said the LCBO.

“The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.”

Last week, several other locations also reported positive cases among its employees across the GTA.

Many positive cases have also been reported at grocery stores around Toronto and the GTA.
