Over the past two weeks, several LCBO locations across Toronto have reported employees testing positive for COVID-19.

On November 21, an LCBO located at 619 Queen Street West reported an employee testing positive for the virus. They had last worked on November 15.

On November 24, another employee at the same LCBO location reported testing positive for COVID-19 and had last worked on November 20.

The next day, on November 25, two employees, one at an LCBO at 2180 Bloor Street West and one at 932 Gerrard Street East, both tested positive for the virus. They had last worked on November 14 and November 22, respectively.

The Gerrard Street location underwent a deep cleaning at that time.

On November 27, an LCBO employee at 785 Milner Avenue tested positive for the virus and had last worked on November 21.

Throughout the pandemic, the LCBO has maintained several measures in order to keep employees and customers safe. This includes regular cleaning and sanitization, mandatory face coverings, and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.

Several positive cases have also been reported at grocery stores, malls, and restaurants around Toronto and the GTA.
