LCBO locations in Toronto and across the GTA have reported more employees testing positive for COVID-19 in the last few days.

According to the LCBO, on December 15, they were notified of a positive case at their 11785 Bramalea Road location. The employee had last worked on December 5.

This case is unrelated to the previous case reported on December 11, per the news release.

The LCBO has also been made aware of a contract vendor working out of their 932 Gerrard Street East location, who tested positive for COVID-19. They had last worked in-store on December 6.

They are also making the public aware that this case is unrelated to that of November 25 at the same location.

On Monday and over the past weekend, seven LCBO stores reported cases among employees in Toronto and the GTA.

“This general notice is being provided out of transparency. Should we receive any Public Health direction or guidance; we will act immediately and accordingly,” said the LCBO.

“The LCBO has several measures to keep employees and customers safe, including regular cleaning and sanitization and in-store measures that promote physical distancing.”
