The Internet is not happy about the Air Canada Centre's name change

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment announced today that it has agreed to a 20-year sponsorship agreement to rename the Air Canada Centre to the Scotiabank Arena.

The official change will come into effect on July 1, 2018.

Of course, Twitter erupted with everyone’s hot take on the name change and it looks like many are not too happy about it.

From jabs at Scotiabank to snarky comments about Air Canada, here are just some examples of how Twitter is taking to the new name.
