If you’ve ever wanted to show off your 6ix pride on your skin, now you can.

And no, it’s not permanent.

Canadian start-up inkbox has created the world’s first two-week temporary tattoos, made from organic, fruit-based formula. Although it is temporary, it looks and feels just like a real tattoo — but without that long term commitment.

And from November 12 to 26, inkbox will be popping up in downtown Toronto and will have over 350 tattoos available, including its limited edition Toronto collection.

The inkbox holiday pop-up will provide hot chocolate, gourmet cookies, gift wrapping station, and a tattoo chair where guests can have their tatts applied on the spot. An artist in residence will also be available for any freehand custom tattoos.

inkbox tattoos can be applied easily at home in under 15 minutes. The formula penetrates the top layer of skin, which then reacts with organic compounds to transform the colour of skin to black/dark navy. The tattoos last only as long as the natural regeneration time of the skin, which is two to four weeks.
