Alleged impaired driver crashes into TTC bus shelter with people inside

An alleged impaired driver has been arrested after crashing into a Scarborough TTC bus shelter with people inside early Friday morning.

According to Toronto Police, the driver crashed into the bushes near Sheppard Avenue ad Progress Avenue before striking the bus shelter.

Police say no one in the shelter was injured.

Traffic Services are continuing the investigation.
