There's a holiday-themed escape room in Toronto this season

You may not be able to escape the awkward, extended-family dinners that are coming up this holiday… but you can try to escape this room.

There’s a holiday-themed escape room in the Annex, and if you don’t get over there pronto, Christmas very well might be ruined.

Escape rooms are like giant games where the players are the play-pieces, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving in a fun, creative environment.

They’re an ideal spot for an office holiday party, a fun family event, or a unique date to test the strength of your relationship.

The Quest to Save Christmas room’s mission is focused on finding the elements needed for Santa’s reindeer to be able to fly.

All the children around the world are counting on you.

But no pressure.

You can opt for the Intermediate or Advanced game options, but the website warns that the Intermediate level is tricky. Don’t feel like you need to force yourself into Advanced if you’re new to escape rooms.

The record time for the Intermediate option is 34 minutes, 37 seconds while for the Advanced, it’s 43 minutes and 9 seconds.

Can you beat those times, and foil the Grinch’s plan to ruin Christmas?
