A special weather statement remains in effect for Toronto on Thursday afternoon, as freezing drizzle is possible today before snow gets heavier again tonight.
According to the latest weather statement from Environment Canada, this evening, “snow may become heavy at times before tapering off to light snow by Friday morning.”
Environment Canada added that “given the timing of the snow, the evening commute is likely to be impacted.”
It is forecasting snowfall accumulations in the 5 to 10 cm range.
The breakdown of the hourly weather forecasts the end of the drizzle around 8 pm, and periods of snow will continue afterwards.
Throughout the day, Environment Canada warns to be prepared and to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
