Harry's Charbroiled throwing 'shindig' before permanently closing this week

“The time has finally come for Harry’s to sling its last burger at 160 Springhurst Ave.”

And with that line, Harry’s Charbroil announced its closing date on social media.

Located in Parkdale, the popular burger spot says the closure is due to rent increases and maintenance costs at their location.

“With recent rent increases, a six month demo clause hovering over our heads, and unexpected infrastructure costs required to maintain this location, it’s time for us to close this chapter and find a new home for Harry’s,” read a post by the joint.

Their last day of operation is on October 5.

The eatery took to Instagram to share that for that final day of service, they’ve got “something good” in the works.

“It’s not a proper goodbye unless you throw a shindig,” the post reads.

So keep an eye on their account to find out how you can be a part of the last hurrah.

And to really make the most the spot’s final days, stop by for a burger any evening this week. There might be a wait… but it’ll be well worth it.
