From Aburi Restaurants, the same group behind Toronto’s Miku and TORA, the city is gearing up to welcome Hana Yorkville.

Serving Modern Kyo-Kaiseki Japanese food, the new eatery will open at 102 Yorkville Avenue on January 17.

The space will include seat availability at the Chef’s Counter, which includes a front-row view of chefs in action. Additionally, there will be private rooms that’ll offer a more intimate experience.

Emphasis will be placed on the subtle flavours of fresh, seasonal ingredients offered in a the form of a 15-course menu. Experiences will span 2.5 hours, with each course offering a balance of flavour, colour and texture, plated on imported and authentic Japanese Arita plateware.

“Hana is the next step in the constant evolution of Aburi Restaurants. This will be our most luxurious operation to date and should rightfully earn the designation of most spectacular modern Kyō-Kaiseki experience in Toronto,” says Seigo Nakamura, owner of Aburi Restaurants Canada in a release.

“Our team has put a great deal of thought into every element within the space and has surpassed all of my expectations; I am certain our guests will feel the same.”
