
Kirkland Signature brand all butter croissants are being recalled from select Ontario Costco stores âdue to the possible presence of plasticâ according to a news release from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of this product but the CFIA is advising that âconsumers should not consume the recalled productsâŠâ

The affected products including the 12-pack of Kirkland Signature All Butter Croissants packaged on January 5, 2018 and marked best before January 7, 2018, as well as frozen, uncooked, 204 x 85 g, Kirkland Signature All Butter Croissants packaged on January 5, 2018 and marked best before April 02, 2018.
The recalled croissants were sold only at GTA Costco locations in Etobicoke, (50 Queen Elizabeth Bourlevard) and Newmarket, (18182 Yonge Street), as well as in Barrie (41 Mapleview Drive East) and two locations in London (4313 Wellington Road South and 693 Wonderland Road North.
According to the CFIA, ârecalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.â
