This newly opened cafe specializes in Greek doughnuts

Greek food is having a bit of a resurgence in Toronto right now and it’s not concentrated to a single strip on The Danforth anymore. Refined dining can be had at Mamakas on Ossington, fresh phyllo pastries and pita at Agora across from Bellwoods, and outposts from Greek & Co., OG Original Grill, and Gyro Bar are slinging fast food faves across the city.

And now there’s even a dedicated spot doing Greek doughnuts!

Loukoumania Cafe newly opened in Vaughan is offering a new take on Greek honey puffs (AKA loukoumades). The cafe deals in honey-soaked doughnuts customized with a choice of 30 toppings including selections of crushed nuts, flavoured syrups, candy and cookie pieces.

Best of all these sweet treats can be ordered up to six at a time topped with ice cream, or by the dozen in boxes to go.
