The Greasy Spoon Diner Supper Series returns to Toronto.
The Supper Series pairs the best chefs in the world with a local hangout to create a four-course dining experience. Chefs are trading in their tweezers for tongs, creating each course using inspiration from diner food.
According to organizers, the meal is paired with cocktails made by award-winning bartenders, as well as craft beer and wine. And the best part: it helps feed and employ members of our community.
“It’s an opportunity to re-connect with purpose, enjoy an exceptional meal with people who share the same values, and hear about the work being done to serve those less fortunate,” states the event page. “The Greasy Spoon is the easiest way to make a big impact while having a great time, every time.”
The event series originates in Vancouver and has sold out every year for three years and is presented by A Better Life Foundation, an organization that raises funds “towards providing quality food security to women, children, and those on assisted living.”
