A summery food truck festival is landing in Toronto this weekend

This summer has been quite different from most, so if you’ve been missing your typical hot-weather traditions, that’s valid.

This weekend, a flavourful event is landing in Toronto that might just help squash your cravings for summertime feelings… and foods.

In accordance with the current physical distancing rules, Food Truck’N Weekend is landing at Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex at 25 British Columbia Road (read: Exhibition Place) on July 18 and 19 from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Food from some of the city’s top food trucks will be available for takeout and — for those who would prefer to stay further away from the event itself — for delivery through UberEats.

In addition to food trucks on-site, there will be physically-distanced picnic areas and a licensed patio, providing refreshing bevvies to pair with your summery snack picks.

You’ll be able to snag eats from Eva’s Original Chimneys, Jerk Brothers, The Arepa Republic, Mustache Burger, Shawarma Gate, and more.

Each spot’s offerings are bright, summery, and bursting with flavour — they might help you forget, for a moment, that your opportunities to enjoy food trucks have been slim this season.

Admission is free to the public and all ages are welcome to attend the event but take note, of course, you must be 19 or older to enjoy anything boozy.
