While pumpkin spice season is officially upon us, you may want to hold off on digging out your cozy sweaters–for now at least.

Fall officially kicks off today, but rather than crisp and cool temperatures, we can expect things more on the hot and humid side in Toronto.

This is probably for the best, considering Torontonians might not be ready to give up the warmth of summer just yet, especially following the beautiful weekend we just experienced.

According to Environment Canada, we can expect a mix of sun and clouds on Monday, along with a 40% chance of showers and gusts of wind of 30 to 50 km/h.

As for the temperature, the weather agency has forecast a high of 25°C, which will feel more like 31°C with the humidex.

Temperatures will hover around the 20°C mark, along with the chance of showers for the rest of the week. However, come Friday, the sunshine will return.

But hey, will take this over chilly temperatures any day.
