Just two hours from Toronto, the Fire and Ice Festival will return to Downtown Bracebridge in 2018 and might just be the perfect excuse to test out your snow tires.
The annual one-day-only event promises practically every essential cold weather activity all in one place.
Taking place on the last Saturday in January, the massive winter carnival bills toasty activities like pancake breakfasts, fire artists and fire pits complete with marshmallow roasting, along with quintessential winter attractions including interative ice displays, inflatable igloos, outdoor curling, a downtown snowtube run, skating trail, road hockey tournament, and more.
Passes can be purchased at the event (cash only) or in advance at select locations within Bracebridge.

Price: Day passes priced at $5 per adult, $3 per child ages 6 – 12, and free for kids 5 and under.
