Everyone thinks Tate McRae is dating one of the Hughes brothers after latest appearance
Has a new power couple officially dropped?
Over the weekend, hockey fans exploded with speculation on social media that Canadian pop star Tate McRae is dating an NHL superstar. The Alberta native took in a Calgary Flames game late last week, but it appears her love interest plays on a different team.
McRae travelled all the way to Newark to watch the New Jersey Devils take on the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday night. That just so happened to be Jack Hughes’ first game back since suffering an injury in November.
This fuelled speculation that McRae and Hughes are dating.

“Hughes-McRae miles better than Kelce-Swift,” one hockey fan said in response to the video.
This wasn’t the first time that McRae has been connected to Hughes this season. Just last month, a photo of the two having dinner together in New York made the rounds on social media.

Neither Tate nor Jack has confirmed the relationship, though Jack’s older brother, former Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes, has weighed in. He liked a post on Instagram that speculated about the two being involved.
