Ahhh, September. Fall is almost upon us, but for now, enjoy the warm(ish) summer weather and head out to check these Toronto events today!

Toronto Fashion Week

Starting today, Toronto Fashion Week brings style and glam into our lives. Fashion label Pint Tartan, Jean Paul Gautier, and Russell Peters will all be making an appearance this week.

Cheap Poke all week

The Bill Murray Day Fan Art Show

During these turbulent times, when nations are divided and the world appears to be in a constant state of disarray, the one thing that everyone can agree on is that Bill Murray is amazing. In 2014, to promote the world premiere of his film St. Vincent, TIFF declared September 5th Bill Murray Day here in Toronto. Little did they know that this event would inspire a Fan Art Show several years later.

Skate Girls of Kabul: A Behind-the-Scenes Look

During this artist’s talk and panel discussion, photographer Jessica Fulford-Dobson is joined by Beth Malcolm (Canadian Women’s Foundation) and Shabana Saidali (former Skateistan participant) to reveal key insights into the series of portraits that have taken the art world by storm. The exhibit will be available for viewing from September 5- October 8, 2017 in the Aga Khan Park.
