Toronto's first ever Butter Tart Festival is on this weekend
No need to travel out of the city to get your butter tart fix this weekend. While the iconic Ontario-born dessert is the centre of celebrations at rural festivals and taste-offs throughout the year, Toronto finally has a Butter Tart Festival to call its own!
The first ever Etobicoke Butter Tart Festival is on this Saturday, June 23 on The Kingsway at Kipling.

The inaugural event is free to attend and will see the best of Ontario butter tarts compete for top honours, plus tons of sampling and sweet treats for sale. Look forward to vendors like Tartistry, Hot Oven Bakery, Holy Cannoli and more, all hawking their best sweet treats!
