In addition to the rainfall, Environment Canada says strong westerly wind gusts of 70 or 80 km/h are possible tonight into Friday morning.
As for the temperature, it will be a high of 12ºC today and will drop down to a chilly 1ºC for Halloween night.
If you’re driving this evening and visibility is reduced, the weather agency advises turning on headlights and maintaining a safe following distance, as pedestrians are more difficult to see when it is dark and raining.
Whatever you get up to this Halloween, don’t forget your umbrella and for safe measure, your parka.
