If you’ve been craving pasta and a chilled glass of white wine under the warm sun, Toronto’s massive Italian marketplace is about to grant your wishes.

Eataly will officially be launching its patio this Friday, July 10, so you can enjoy authentic Spiedini, Pizza al Padellino, and alcohol-laden bevvies in the booming Bay-Bloor neighbourhood.

The eatery will be operating with several safety measures in place, including limited contact, consistent cleaning and disinfecting, crowd prohibition, and more.

The spot’s “aperitivo hour” will be a highlight, featuring new summer-style spiedini like Zucchine (Grilled Ontario Zucchini with Villa Manodori Dark Cherry Balsamic) or Pollo (Stewart Martin Farms Chicken Thigh with a Spicy Limoncello Glaze).

Those looking to enjoy a full-meal experience can opt for Torino-style Pizza al Padellino and insalate packed with bright, seasonal ingredients.

You’ll be able to tuck into refreshing cocktails — think Aperol Spritz, Senza Pensieri, and Negroni — while enjoying the open air. And those who want to lean into the true Italian patio experience can choose from regional Italian wines, available to pair with dishes by the glass or bottle.

The patio will be open from noon to 9 pm, depending on the weather, and reservations are available on Eataly’s website now.
