You can enjoy a beer while you work at this popular Queen West cafe
There comes a time of day when the “coffee” part of “coffee shop” becomes a little too stimulating; a little too “keep-you-up-all-night.”
So if you’re of the crowd that’s keyboarding the day away in the city’s cozy caverns, it should relieve you to learn that some cafes are offering drinks on the other end of the scale.
Early Bird Coffee and Kitchen, tucked into Queen West near Bathurst, recently started offering beer from local brewery Burdock.

The spot offers saisons, pale ales and IPAs to customers, some of which change with the seasons, cafe staff told Daily Hive. Booze is available within the cafe’s indoor space.
It’s nice to have cold ones as an option, alongside cold brews. They make for a smooth transition from daytime work into evening relaxation.
