Toronto Firefighters rescue ducklings from sewer grate (VIDEO)

While certainly not the most dramatic rescue in recent Toronto history, this one might go down as one of the cutest! Toronto Firefighters shared a video to social media yesterday following the adorable rescue of three ducklings who fell into a sewer grate near Bathurst Street and Patricia Avenue.

According to the account posted to Instagram, firefighters were called to the scene by a good samaritan “noticing mama in distress near a sewer grate and heard the cries from below.”

The trio of fluffy ducklings were bailed out by emergency workers and safely reunited with their mother and siblings.

You might even call them (wait for it) lucky ducks.
