15 companies are hiring for 140 jobs in Toronto this May

The Toronto job market is going through an unpredictable time as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a significant impact on the economy.

With such a focus on unemployment across the country, it can feel hopeless even thinking about applying for jobs.

But, there are still companies hiring in Toronto and looking for new talent to fill various positions in the tech and finance sectors.

Daily Hive compiled a list of 15 companies and startups hiring for 140 positions. So while the economy is facing challenges, there are still opportunities in your chosen field to find a job in the current climate.

Xero

• Who: Xero is a beautiful, easy-to-use global cloud-based accounting platform for small businesses and their advisors. The company has 2 million subscribers in more than 180 countries. Xero seamlessly integrates with more than 800 apps. It was ranked No. 1 by Forbes as the World’s Most Innovative Growth Company for two years running and was included in the 2020 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for their ongoing emphasis on fostering workplace diversity.
• Jobs: Xero Canada is growing their Toronto team and is currently hiring for a Data Engineer, Product Design Director, Senior Product Designer, National Account Manager (Sales) and Senior Software Developers across the Bills and Workflow teams.
