While physical isolation may have you lining up (with distance, of course) outside your nearest LCBO to stock up on liquid resilience, one local bar is calling you their way, instead.
Bloor West cocktail bar and bottle shop Civil Liberties got creative with its sign, playing with the LCBO’s branding, and swapping the letters around to promote its own sales of alcohol.
The spot’s takeout menu is stocked with classics like beer, wine, and cider. But it’s also offering more niche goods that you would normally find at the liquor store, like sherry and vermouth.

With each drink order, you must also grab one of the spot’s food offerings, even if it’s just a small one. For legal purposes. And, speaking of those…
You can shop the Civil Liberties offerings online, where in addition to the goods that’ll help you wind down after a long workday, there’s also merch available.
We wouldn’t suggest you wait on getting ahold of a “CLBO” tee, because — to be frank — they might not be around long. The spot said it themselves when they shared the new signage on Instagram:
“Feeling cute. Will probably be legally required to delete later.”
