One of Toronto's top Italian restaurants just dropped its tiramisu recipe

If self-isolation calls for any dessert, it’s tiramisu.

Combining coffee and alcohol with carbs and fat, it’s literally the perfect dish, hitting the comfort-food mark from every angle.

Sugo, which warmed the city’s heart earlier this week with the announcement of home delivery, has released their recipe so you can make the iconic Italian treat at home.

The beloved resto’s very own Conzo gives the rundown on Instagram. In a cool 3.5 minutes, the vid below guides you through turning crispy cookies, booze, a dozen eggs, and marscapone mascarpone cheese into a creamy, tart, just-sweet-enough dessert.

Conzo ends the video with a note of encouragement, letting you know that a visit to Sugo isn’t necessary — you can make his food at home easily and probably, he says, better than he does.

Because, in his words, he’s “not even Italian.”
