The City is looking for rabbit and cat cuddling volunteers

Get ready to purr and play with some furry little ones.

The City of Toronto currently has volunteer positions open for Rabbit/Cat Cuddlers.

Yes, really.

According to the City website, “volunteers play with the cats and rabbits in the shelters to help with their socialization skills. This is a rewarding experience for the volunteer, but also crucial to the physical and mental well-being of the animals in our care, and helps them get adopted.”

Volunteers are required through all Toronto animal services shelters, and the time commitment is flexible.

Those interested, aka everyone, can contact the City of Toronto at 416-338-0934 or [email protected].
