Think of delicious, succulent lobster. Now, think of juicy lobster meat scattered over crispy romaine lettuce, tossed with fresh pasta, or paired with an equally juicy chunk of steak.

That’s what we call a great way to spend the summer.

After all, summer is synonymous with fresh, flavourful foods, and lobster is one of the best around. And now, for a limited time, the Lobster Grill menu is back at Chop Steakhouse & Bar — for its ninth year.

You know what that means: until August 27, you can treat yourself to your favourite lobster recipes, from Lobster Chowder to Lobster Caesar Salad, to a classic Surf and Turf — all without destroying your bank account. (Now that’s what we like to hear!)

The Lobster Chowder, featuring summer corn, lobster, shrimp, and scallops in a creamy broth, is a catch you’ll be sure to appreciate. For something new, try out the all-new Disco Fries. And if you’re wondering what Disco Fries are, get this: it’s like if poutine took a trip to the Maritimes. Spicy Old Bay fries, topped with lobster cheese sauce, chowder, and crispy bacon. Sorry summer bod, but the Disco Fries are calling our name.

And who doesn’t love lobster for lunch, too?

The Lobster Caesar Salad is the perfect break from work, so head on over with your friends or coworkers for some romaine hearts tossed in lobster Caesar dressing, garlic crostini, and crispy bacon. As far as salads go, this one’s a yes from us.

Be sure to also try out the classic Surf and Turf, featuring the Chef’s Cut Rib Eye and Petite Lobster Tail, or even fresh half or whole Atlantic lobster served with drawn butter and seasonal vegetables. Can you say clawsome?

Make sure you don’t forget dessert! The slow-baked new York Cheesecake is infused with ice wine and ginger and is the ultimate way to cap off your lobster-packed meal.

The next time everyone’s struggling to pick a place to go for lunch or date night, it’s okay to be a little shellfish. Direct everyone to Chop Steakhouse & Bar, because there’s no way you won’t have a crackin’ time. (Sorry, we’re done now. No more puns.)

Chop has four locations in the GTA — to find the closest one to you, head here. For more information and to browse the limited-time Lobster Grill menu, visit Chop.ca.
