You can celebrate Chinese New Year at IKEA this weekend
IKEA North York is inviting you to celebrate Chinese New Year at the store this weekend.
On February 2 and 3 there will be a traditional lion dance taking place in the upper-level restaurant from 11 am to 12 pm.
Each performance includes traditional Chinese drums, cymbals, a gong, and even an acrobatic lion to ring in a prosperous New Year.

Following the performance, lucky red envelopes will be given out, each one with a gift hidden inside. But there’s only a limited amount, so make sure you arrive early to get your spot near the front!
There will also be a special meal available in the restaurant all weekend long.
And while you’re there, you can pick up a new pillow or some linens, too.
