Beloved Toronto hot chicken pop-up taking over Convenience bar location

From a pop-up to the big leagues! Chen Chen’s Hot Chicken has finally claimed a spot on Toronto’s Queen Street West.

Born in China, raised in Nashville, Chen Chen’s Hot Chicken has opened its doors at 1184 Queen Street West after having started as a pop-up over two years ago.

This is the same address where the 80’s themed bar, Convenience once welcomed patrons before its quiet closure. It was then taken over by Caribbean food pop-up Miss. Likklemores, last summer

If you’re eager to taste the heat, their popular menu items include their Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, OG Hot Chicken, Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders, and Schezuan x Nashville Hot Sandwich.

You can see their menu through their website and order for delivery. It’s also available via Uber Eats and Door Dash.

“Special thanks to all of our loyal customers that have stood by us through all of this craziness, we love y’all!” shared the restaurant on their Instagram.

With the warmer seasons ahead, Chen Chen’s has a fully licensed patio coming soon so you can enjoy their hot menu items and cool yourself down with a cold one.
