While rental prices in Toronto might be on the rise, renters can find some affordable listings around the city… although not downtown.

In April, the average rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Toronto, which claims the title of the priciest market in Canada, was $2,260 and rent for a two-bedroom apartment remained at $2,850.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t find affordable listings around the GTA.

And while they might not be located in the heart of downtown, you can find some affordable options hidden throughout the city—you just need to know where to look.

And according to brokerage Zoocasa, these are the five cheapest rental listings available in Toronto right now.
