Long time actor Kurt Russell will be playing jolly ol’ Saint Nick in Netflix’s newest Christmas movie 12/24 that is currently filming in Toronto. Russell has been married to actress Goldie Hawn for over 35 years, and has starred in many feature films like The Thing, Overboard, Furious 7, and The Fate of the Furious.
Darby Camp
Also joining Russell on set is child actress Darby Camp. Camp has been acting since she was six years old when she got her first role on Drop Dead Diva before going on to star as Chloe in HBO’s Big Little Lies.
Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens will likely be in Toronto through to April for her role in the movie Polar. Hudgens is a singer and actress known for starring in the High School Musical film series, Beastly, and Spring Breakers.
Katheryn Winnick
Joining Hudgens in Toronto for Polar is Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick. Winnick was born right here in Etobicoke, Ontario and has starred in Bones, The Art of Steel, and History Channel’s The Vikings in which she currently plays Lagertha.
Mary J. Blige
Mary J. Blige will likely be in Toronto through to mid-July for her role as Cha-Cha in the new series The Umbrella Academy. While Blige is best known for being a famous R&B/Hip-hop artist, she has also starred in a few movies like Rock of Ages, Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, and Mudbound.
Ellen Page
Joining Blige on the set of The Umbrella Academy is Canadian actress Ellen Page. Page has starred in feature films like Juno, Whip It, and Inception, along with TV shows like Trailer Park Boys, Pit Pony and ReGenesis.
Tom Hopper
Also joining these ladies on The Umbrella Academy set is Tom Hopper. Hopper has made appearances in television shows like Doctor Who, Casualty, and Games of Thrones.
Taylor Schilling
Taylor Schilling will be in Toronto through to April for her role in the new feature film Descendant. Schilling is best known for playing main character Piper Chapman in Netflix’s hit show Orange is the New Black.
Zachary Levi
Zachary Levi is currently in Toronto through to May for the lead role in the DC Extended Universe movie Shazam! You may remember him from films like Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, or as the voice of Flynn in the animated movie Tangled.
Zoe Kazan
Known for playing the lead role of Emily in the 2017 film The Big Sick, Zoe Kazan will be in Toronto at the end of March for her role in Secrets from the Russian Tea Room. Kazan has also made appearances in movies like The Savages, It’s Complicated, and Revolutionary Road.
Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone will be in Toronto through to July for her newest role in the film Sunny. Stone has been acting for years and has starred in various films including Casino, The Mighty, The Muse, Alpha Dog, and Lovelace, among many others.
Kiefer Sutherland
Kiefer Sutherland is in Toronto for his role as President Tom Kirkman in season two of Designated Survivor. Best known for his longtime role of Jack Bauer, on the hit Fox series 24, which earned him an Emmy and Golden Globe. Sutherland has also starred in films like Phone Booth, Pompeii, and Flatliners.

Joining Kiefer on the set of Designated Survivor is actor Breckin Meyer. You may remember him for his comedic roles in films like Rat Race, Road Trip, Clueless, and Garfield: The Movie.

Also joining Kiefer and Meyer on set is Kal Penn. Penn is probably best known for playing the hilarious stoner Kumar in the Harold & Kumar films, and who could forget his run on the medical drama series House.
Zoe McLellan
Also joining these men on the set of Designated Survivor is Zoe McLellan. McLellan has starred in TV series like JAG, Dirty Sexy Money, and NCIS: New Orleans.
Hannah John-Kamen
Hannah John-Kamen will be in the city through to September for season four and five of Killjoys. John-Kamen is probably best known for her role of Ornela in the sixth season of Game of Thrones.
Minka Kelly
Minka Kelly will be in Toronto through March for her role in the series Titans. Kelly got her first major role as Lyla in the television series Friday Night Lights, and then went on to star in feature films like The Roommate, 500 days of Summer, and Just Go With It.
Brenton Thwaites
Also joining Kelly on the set of Titans is Brenton Thwaites. This Austrailian actor has starred in movies such as Blue Lagoon: The Awakening, Oculus, The Giver, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
