Toronto grocery store launches happy hour with "deep discounts"
When it comes to sustainability, there’s a huge focus on shopping local.
From supporting small businesses in the community to cutting down the distance your goods need to travel before reaching your plate, there are plenty of positives.
But it can also be a pricey endeavour.
In order to reduce food waste, west-end grocery market Canary & Fox has introduced a new happy hour promotion that will keep both your tummy and your wallet happy.

During this time, you’ll find discounts ranging from 10% to 50% off of items that are nearing their best before dates, plus products that are in their normal, peak-selling time.
Some products that have been on the cheap so far include Harmony Cream, almond flour, Hungry Budda Coconut Chips, LaCroix, and Fever-Tree, as well as 20% off any book purchase.
