Canada's Wonderland's Victoria Day fireworks will be a little different this weekend
FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Missing fireworks? Well, you’re in luck.
If anyone thought seeing fireworks this year for Victoria Day was a no-show, think again.
Canada’s Wonderland is offering a virtual show of its “spectacular lights” and colourfully explosive display of fireworks this holiday weekend.
“Set chairs up, or get comfy on the couch, load up our fireworks show on Youtube and enjoy the spectacular lights,” reads the national theme park’s website.
The virtual display will feature more than “6,000 explosions of colour” above the park.
Typically the Canada Wonderland display required 374 hours of design and installation work, with 11 separate firing positions and 1,800 firing cues.
The video features approximately six minutes of a previous show, filmed in 2019, that viewers can easily watch online.
And, if put on the large screen with HD, it can almost feel like watching the show in-person.
While it’s not the typical way to enjoy Victoria Day, watching the vibrant fireworks can still make the holiday feel special.
And if you feel so inclined, you can enjoy one of the virtual rollercoaster rides being offered too.
So on Monday, sit back, relax, grab a delicious snack, and enjoy the show.
