Cabbagetown's only Starbucks is closing its doors today

It’s always strange when a reliable friend leaves the neighbourhood.

And that’s exactly what’s happening in Cabbagetown today, as the neighbourhood’s only Starbucks, at the corner of Parliament and Aberdeen, closes its doors.

The classic coffee hub is serving cups of caffeine through to 6 pm. After that, the doors will be locked for good. Er… until whatever’s replacing the shop comes through to fill the space.

So if this is your friendly neighbourhood Starbucks storefront, you’ll need to find somewhere else to get your S’Mores Frappuccino fix.
