A new dining experience is coming to Toronto, and it’s ready to conquer the cold.
Cabana Waterfront Patio is introducing The Marquee, their new outdoor heated patio, by the end of this month.
For the rest of the cold season, with the addition of heaters, Cabana Waterfront Patio will transform into the city’s largest outdoor heated patio on October 24.
The Marquee features a 5,400-sq-ft tented and heated outdoor patio for the ultimate dining experience.
They also have a new food menu by Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality and an interactive art installation by Canadian artist Bruno Billio.
Cabana Pool Bar continues to keep health and safety measures in place, including sanitizing surfaces between seatings, cleaning menus and common areas, contactless payments, limited number of diners, and physical distancing at all times, among several other measures.

Many Toronto restaurants are keeping their outdoor patios open with the use of heaters as indoor dining is out of the picture for the region.
With the city removing curb lane patios in the coming weeks, the city’s Planning and Housing Committee is looking into changing existing zoning bylaws. This would temporarily ease zoning restrictions of the Planning Act on outdoor patios, “associated with eating establishments, take-out eating establishments, and recreation uses.”
“The temporary use bylaws will continue to ease restrictions on outdoor patios associated with restaurants and bars during the winter months, in the event that individual businesses choose to operate patios for their patrons during this time,” states the report.
While that’s in the works, you can enjoy one of Toronto’s many outdoor heated patios, including The Marquee which is now accepting reservations.
